Sejarah

Jenis bubur berasal dari orang Melayu di Sambas di Kalimantan Barat dan kemudian diadaptasi sebagai makanan untuk orang Melayu Sarawak.[1]
Di Kalimantan Barat, bubur pedas biasanya terbuat dari bubur nasi dicampur ikan teri sedikit, kacang, daun bawang, dan rempah-rempah. Juga tak lupa dengan saus dan kecap untuk menambah citarasanya. Biasanya ditambahkan juga perasan jeruk limau. Di Sambas, makanan ini merupakan makanan rakyat. Di Pontianak, biasanya orang menjual bubur pedas dengan gerobak.
